Expert  testing of both fixed wiring and portable equipment

We offer testing services to both fixed wiring and portable equipment in home or commerce. Its important to remember that the quality of the testing results is totally dependant on the care taken at the time of testing ,the experience of the person carrying out the testing and the equipment used. We have the most up to date test equipment that is calibrated by the original equipment suppliers at designated periods it is also tested by ourselves in our workshop via calibrated test check units every month.

We carry out testing in both the domestic and commercial markets , be it for a home buyer, a care facility or a PCC in a church. We offer a quality testing service . Having  60 years of testing experience behind us we offer the reassurance of being able to give a service that puts safety and quality before anything else.

Fixed wiring testing can be a one off inspection or in the case of a listed building part of its long term care, Church electrical services for example require long term care and we are able to provide this via an agreed testing arrangement.

Pat testing is now risk based and we can arrange for the items that require testing to be entered into a data base for regular testing. We use the new KEW downloading pat testers that store tests internally for down load to a usb stick or directly to our office computers.

We have undertaken CIEH health and safety training and can help in the risk management of both fixed wiring and Pat testing requirements. With the September 2022 changes to the 18th edition wiring regulations we are already fully up to standard with the latest  amendments, our engineers have undertaken training on the changes and our certification and technical documents are all updated to meet the changes now in place

While price concerns are always important to a client we would always advise that safety and correct testing is put first when looking for a firm to carry out this type of work

Testing in a domestic setting may be completed in a day in a listed building it may take several weeks and involve scaffolding or access equipment, whatever the requirement we have the experience to offer a solution to provide compliance with health and safety and licensing requirements.

Our office uses computer based systems  to produce reports from on site testing, all reports can be sent by email, or usb/cd formats.
